CPR Group 2023 Free Webinar Series

CPR Group has been supporting Australian clubs, organisations, peak bodies, universities, Councils and Government for over 25 years and we understand the different perspectives of what it takes to make sports clubs and community organisations function successfully.

Throughout 2023, CPR Group has been hosting an ongoing free webinar series to help these groups tackle some of the most pressing challenges they face. We have already held four successful webinars on Asset Management, Planning for Success, Succession Planning and AGM and Constitution Support, with positive feedback from all attendees.

Asset management is a critical aspect of running a successful club or organisation. In our webinar, we covered the basics of asset management, including the importance of legal compliance, the impact of neglecting facilities, managing spaces, using money wisely and the importance of good governance from committees.

Planning for success is another essential topic that we covered in our webinar series. We discussed the importance of setting goals, creating a strategic plan and engaging stakeholders in the planning process. Succession planning is an area that many clubs and organisations struggle with. Our webinar focused on the importance of succession planning, the key elements of a successful plan and how to implement it effectively. We aimed to help organisations prepare for the future by identifying potential leaders and creating a plan to ensure a smooth transition.

Our AGM and Constitution Support webinar covered the basics of holding an Annual General Meeting, including the legal requirements, best practices and common mistakes to avoid. We also provided advice on updating constitutions and navigating any changes that may be required.

We are thrilled with the positive feedback we have received from attendees from all of our webinars so far and we are excited to continue the series with three more webinars in 2023. These upcoming webinars will cover Social Impact, Grant Writing and Volunteer Management.

Our Social Impact webinar will focus on how clubs and organisations can make a positive impact on their communities. We will discuss the importance of social impact, how to measure the impact of your organisation and explore how Councils and clubs can use social impact to drive purpose and strategy.

Grant writing is an essential skill for any club or organisation that relies on funding. In our webinar, we will provide tips and best practices for writing successful grant applications, including how to identify funding opportunities, craft a compelling proposal and demonstrate the impact of your work.

Finally, our Volunteer Management webinar will cover the basics of recruiting, training and retaining volunteers. We will discuss the benefits of volunteering, how to recruit volunteers effectively and how to create a positive volunteer experience that will keep people coming back.
